Little Lotus Yoga™ was founded over 10 years ago by the energetic, enthusiastic Amanda DeGrace. We now offer fun, gentle classes for children, babies, parents-to-be and women looking to rebuild their strength after childbirth.
Our team of instructors works throughout the Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec area. We're happy to say that our instructors are considered the best of the best, and are sought after by families throughout the region.

You can become certified in Prenatal, Postnatal, or Children's Yoga. Classes are offered locally in the Ottawa area with remote training opportunities coming soon.

I would highly recommend this course to any Physical Education Teacher in the elementary panel or anyone wanting to deepen their yoga knowledge. Amanda is an exceptional teacher and I can’t wait to learn more from her!
As a teacher, with an interest in yoga, I was seeking a course that would help me build a solid foundation of knowledge and skills to apply in the classroom. The Kids Yoga Teacher Training course was a wonderful way for me to explore yoga, meditation, breathing techniques, and music for children. Amanda creates a relaxed and caring learning environment, in which students are encouraged to ask questions and form dialogue to further their understanding of yoga principles for children. She models and explains the significance of techniques and provides opportunities for students to use these techniques but also adapt them to suit their needs. Amanda was a master in her art and provided a great stage for the group to learn and connect. I would highly recommend this course to all educators!
LLY's Prenatal Yoga classes have been a great source of gentle movement, relaxation and information for me. I have taken several sessions in a row and it has been important for me to have that routine every week. The yoga incorporates core breathing to activate the pelvic floor and other posutres and strategies that will come in handy for labour. Amanda makes an effort to switch up the topics and guest speakers which really helped me feel more prepared for birth, posptartum and life with baby. I really like that desipite classes being virtual, Amanda helps community- building for participants by dedicating a session to get to know each other and having a private facebook group.
Always on the lookout for new and exciting “Mommy and Me” things to do together, my greatest challenge was to find an age appropriate activity for my 5 year old that was noncompetitive, could hold her attention long enough, and one that both my daughter and I could enjoy together. I was thrilled when I found Amanda’s “Mommy and me” yoga class. Amanda has an amazing ability to weave stories with our bodies and minds in a flow that encourages creativity and is a great release for both my daughter and I. Where else can you bark in the dog pose, hiss in the cobra pose, meow in a cat stretch or stand strong and tall like a tree – and have it feel perfectly natural?In addition to the obvious benefits of exercising, Amanda’s yoga classes have helped my daughter become aware of herself from the inside out and I have never felt more relaxed than after a class. And the best part? We are doing it together.I plan to continue to explore other classes Amanda offers for years to come. They have helped inspire my daughter’s imagination, improve her concentration and focus, and develop relaxation techniques – all of which, I truly believe will help her navigate life’s challenges with a little more ease.
Our 2.5 year old son came home from his first Little Lotus Yoga class with Amanda eager to show us his tree pose. He continued to learn new things like butterfly pose and table pose, how to notice his breathing, and how to chant OOOOOmmm! He loved Amanda’s positive, gentle and fun approach, and as parents, we loved her nurturing and supportive teaching presence. We have all benefited from his ability to calm himself with breathing, and to quietly chant with his hands in prayer pose when he wakes up (too) early!! Thanks, Amanda!!!
I have really enjoyed doing prenatal yoga online with Amanda. It is nice to have some time carved out each week to take care of myself, talk to other expecting mothers and learn from care providers
