We would love to send a big thank you to Tumblers Gymnastics for being the gold sponsor at Kegels and Cocktails!
How did Tumblers start?
We created a great home for our wonderful program in Orleans 26 years ago and have grown to be one of the province’s largest gymnastic clubs in terms of both membership and facility size (over 18,000 square feet).
What programs do you provide?
Everything gymnastic from informal drop-in sessions, playgroups and camps, to fully-advanced National level competitive training for both girls and boys. We use the latest and best equipment and our staff team is made up of NCCP trained coaches (National Coaching Certification Program).
Why Gymnastics?
Gymnastics is Fun. No matter what age, learning new skills using exciting apparatus and defying gravity will appeal to almost everyone young and old. Gymnastics at Tumblers provides a healthy outlet for active children in a fun and safe environment through regular weekly classes, camp programs, or a fun filled birthday party. Whether it’s a 55 minute recreational class once a week or a high level competitive program, the programs will help your child build strong bones and muscles, improve flexibility, develop good posture and balance, improve fitness and build confidence and positive self-esteem. It also provides a great opportunity to meet new friends, try new things, and most of all to have fun and learn the values of healthy living.
What is the secret to your success?
We offer a wide range of programs, all under one roof that cater to a wide range of ages and abilities. Drop-in sessions allow would-be gymnasts to try out this popular sport without commitment. Recreational programmes are perfect for those who want all the benefits of gymnastics without competition. Competitive gymnastic lessons will let children go as far as they can, including following the path to national levels.
What are people surprised to learn?
People are surprised to learn that gymnastics offers so much more than just physical activity and motor-skills. It builds life skills. They have seen their children grow in terms of confidence, social skills, team-building, and leadership while having great times and making new friends. Many of Tumblers current coaches started off as young club members and once bitten by the chalk-dust bug simply had to return to help out a whole new generation of tumblers.
