Spend time celebrating your Mind & Body. YOU GREW A HUMAN BEING! How cool is that?! Now is time to take care of yourself. After giving birth we, as mothers, give so much to our sweet newborns. We are constantly taking care of their needs and sometimes we forget to take care of ourselves. Take time out to listen to what your body needs, let your mind rest and focus on your breath and know that you are a perfect mama for your baby just the way you are now.
Meet other moms and create a network of other wonderful women who are experiencing similar things as you. You are NOT ALONE! Yes, there are more of us out there who can’t find time to shower in a day, have baby vomit on our shirt and can’t seem to find enough time to bake healthy snacks for our children so resort to buying them at the store!
Spend time with your baby in an environment that welcomes you to change a dirty diaper, walk around bouncing a crying baby, feed your baby wherever and however you need to and where it is completely acceptable to shed a few tears when your baby has a diaper blow out for the fourth time that day and leaves you wishing you brought a change of clothes for yourself!
Learn yoga postures and breathing techniques that you can then do at home while you are breastfeeding, changing your baby or just have 2 seconds to yourself! Stretch, release, lengthen, strengthen and feel good!
