Little Lotus Yogi’s LOVE when we do this meditation in class! It gives them an opportunity to really use their voice and channel their energy to clean out their minds and bodies and make room for love, positivity and space for many wonderful thoughts to filter into their little bodies.
In a comfortable position ask your child to think of times when they were in a situation that they did not like or feel comfortable with, a time that they were made to feel sad/mad/angry, etc. or a time that they wish they would have said no instead of yes or nothing at all. Let the children yell out all of their “No” feelings/thoughts and repeat them to release them from the mind and body.
Take a few deep cleansing breaths in and out of the nose once they are finished with their “No’s”
Then ask your child to think of times when they really felt full of love, joy and happiness. What were they doing. Who was with them. Where were they, etc.
Take a deep breath in and yell “YES” over and over and over again inviting all those wonderful warm and fuzzy thoughts and experiences to come back into their body.
Once they are finished take a few deep cleansing breaths and feel how light you feel!
