Amanda DeGrace shares how to plan the best trip to Toronto including travel tips, activities and best places to see on CTV Morning Live.
If you are driving to Toronto there are some wonderful sites to see including a must stop at the Big Apple with lots to do for your children and make sure to pick up an apple fritter or a couple of their famous apple pies.
Another great option is to take the train and take advantage of the sales that Via Rail has to offer this summer (children travel for $15 all summer long). Travelling by train allows you to save on parking fees if your trip is to the downtown core of Toronto and taking the train can be an adventure itself for the children.
Once there Amanda suggests her favourite hotel to stay with children is at the Chelsea Hotel Toronto. It has everything you need including an indoor water slide and activity rooms for both the young and older children.
Looking for activities to keep the family busy? Why not take in a Blue Jays game and stay at the Toronto Marriott City Centre Hotel where you can enjoy the game from the hotel. Other favourites are: Ripleys Aquarium, Canada’s Wonderland and Centreville Amusement Park.
Have a wonderful trip!
