What Amy has to say about Little Lotus Yoga.
We've been featured in a post on the Kids in the Capital site. Amy wrote a wonderful blog post about her experiences in one of our classes. "A little while ago my daughter saw me doing yoga at home. I have a DVD that I pop in occasionally and she was very interested in what I was doing. The next day we looked up some videos online, but I wanted to take her to a real class and I got the opportunity when my friend Amanda told me about a Little Lotus Yoga parent and preschool class at a new ... It can be very easy to forget proper breastfeeding posture (shoulders back and relaxed, feet supported, chin retracted and long spine). I have been ... View Post
Spooky Yoga
With Halloween last night it's always fun to get in the spooky spirit and be a little creative when doing kids yoga. On Friday during my kids classes I asked everyone to come up with a yoga posture that could be a Halloween pose. Of course childrens creativity is always flowing and the response and fun we had was incredible. Some children came up with postures that were brand new. For example little A wanted to be a jumping witch, so we hoped on one foot as we challenged our balance and ... View Post
